Give thanks:
- for wonderful times spent with our family and friends in the U.K. so far this summer.
- for the way various arts ministry opportunities have been opening up for Rachel.
- for an encouraging time meeting with friends and colleagues at the recent Wycliffe U.K. conference.
Please pray:
- for Rachel’s trip to a big arts conference in Singapore in July – that the conference will be helpful for her future ministry and a good time of networking with other arts workers in Africa.
- that we will know the Lord’s peace as we seek to trust him for our future needs.
- for wisdom in preparing presentations and leading services in churches over the summer.
- for me (Matthew) as I attend and prepare materials for linguistics and translation conferences in the U.K. (July) and Hungary (August).
- for lasting peace in Jos after the riots and tensions of the last few months.
- that we will grow in our love for the Lord, and that his Word will ‘dwell richly in our hearts’.
